Images of America: Conneaut Lake Park
Growing up in western Pennsylvania, Mike enjoyed exposure to half a dozen traditional amusement parks - all within a two hour drive from his home town of Ellwood City. After working as a ride operator at the park during the summer after my first year of college, I knew I wanted to do anything I could do help the struggling park. After a year of researching and gathering hundreds of priceless photos from from private collections, the book was published and sold at the park with much of the profits being donated to the non-profit organization that was running the park.
